Bestmed’s steady growth in 2022 is significantly owing to the valuable contributions of our brokerages and healthcare advisor community. As such, it was only fitting for the Scheme to conclude this successful year with a series of Best Advisor Engagements.

As the first of its kind post-pandemic, these engagements (hosted across four regions – Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, Western Cape and Eastern Cape) were an opportunity for the Scheme to express its gratitude and recognise the top-performing regional brokerages and advisors for 2021 and 2022.

In today’s complex and saturated healthcare industry, our intermediaries have continuously displayed unwavering excellence and support in translating our Personally Yours brand promise to their clients.  Although it was not possible for the entire Executive Management team to attend all the events, there were always at least 50% of the team members present including Leo Dlamini (CEO/PO), Jessogan Chetty (CFO), Pieter van Zyl (COO), Madelein Barkhuizen (Executive: Sales and Marketing), Ntando Ndonga (Executive: Legal Risk and Governance), Elmarie Jooste (Executive: Corporate Services and Wellness) and Dion Kapp (Executive: Managed Healthcare and Service Providers).

The Executive team thoroughly enjoyed meeting our business partners in person and appreciated the feedback and input that was received.  Complementing the recent Product Launch, Leo also used this opportunity to provide some insight on the factors that informed Bestmed’s decisions regarding the benefit enhancements for 2023 and contribution increase.
