Bestmed is proud to introduce its new Executive Manager: Managed Healthcare and Service Providers, Dr Dion Kapp.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in the private healthcare industry. He has extensive experience in Clinical Risk Management, Contracting and Management of Networks, Hospital Benefit Management, Health Economics, Tariff negotiation, Relationship Management, Scheme Clinical Governance, Product Development, Research, Disease Management, Preventative Care Programmes, PMB Management, Medicine Benefit Management and Underwriting. His previous roles in the healthcare industry include that of General Practitioner, Medical Advisor, Director Risk Management, Senior Manager: Clinical Risk, and General Manager: Strategic Managed Care.
He views himself as a reserved individual that is data- and quality-driven, focused on long-term strategic thinking, and as hard-working with a proven track record of adding value within the Managed Healthcare environment. On a personal level, Dr Kapp enjoys scuba diving, golf and 4x4 adventures.
Dr Kapp will commence his duties on Thursday, 1 September 2022. We look forward to his contribution, which we are certain will add to Bestmed’s excellent performance and Personally Yours brand promise.
