We are excited to invite you to our first Bestmed Tempo Day in 2022 which will be hosted in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. The event will be held in partnership with Mopani Pharmacy and Reboot Health and Fitness, Mbombela.

When? Date: 16 and 17 March 2022 Time: 07:00 to 18:00 (You can book an hour spot)
Where? Venue: Reboot Health and Fitness, Mbombela Address: West End Shopping Centre, Corner of Dr Enos Mabuza and Madiba Drive, West Acres, Mbombela

Do I need to make an appointment/booking?

Yes, we would prefer it if you could indicate during which hour, you will be attending the event and have your screening done. Please email us at tempo@bestmed.co.za to make a booking (remember to include your name, membership number and the timeslot you would like to set the appointment for).

­­­Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are only able to assist up to 50 beneficiaries per hour.

Bestmed members, who have booked a timeslot, will be given preference.

What services are available?

You will be able to have your Health Assessment done and you will receive the contact details of the Bestmed Tempo biokineticists and Bestmed Tempo dietitians in Nelspruit, who you can consult as part of your Bestmed Tempo Wellness journey.

Our Bestmed service consultants will also be available to assist you with any questions you might have about claims or benefits.

What will you get from attending the event and having your screening done?

You will receive your health assessment report within a few days and a gift once you complete your health screening on the day of the event.

We hope you can join us at this first of many events we are planning to host. Please do not forget to book the hour that you will be arriving to do your assessment.

What services are available?

• You will be able to have your Health Assessment done (if you did not yet have it done).
• You will also receive the contact details of the Bestmed Tempo biokineticists and Bestmed Tempo dietitians in Nelspruit, who you can consult as part of your Bestmed Tempo Wellness journey.
• Our service consultants will also be available to assist you with any questions you might have about claims or benefits.

Why should you have your health assessment done?

Once you have done your health assessment and received the results thereof, you will be able to commence with the Tempo Wellness Journey. 

The Tempo wellness journeys are available to all beneficiaries 16 years and older and consist of a “Healthy Weight Programme” coordinated by Tempo Dieticians and a “Get Active Programme” coordinated by Tempo Biokineticists.

What do the Tempo journeys include?

Healthy Weight Programme

After completing your Health Assessment, you will have access to the following benefits that will help you adopt a healthier lifestyle:

• One initial nutritional assessment with a Tempo dietician and receive a complete diet plan.
• Two follow-up virtual consultations with a Tempo dietician – if you need support and encouragement reaching your destination.
• Receiving a Tempo Starter Pack.

Our Tempo dietician will assist you with a personal eating plan, goal setting and follow-up consultations to ensure you reach those personal goals.

Get Active Programme

After completing your Health Assessment, you will have access to the following benefits that will help you adopt a healthier lifestyle:

• One initial fitness assessment with a Tempo Biokineticist and receive a personal exercise plan.
• Two follow-up virtual consultations with a Tempo Biokineticist if you need support and encouragement reaching your new destination.
• Receiving a Tempo Starter Pack.

Our Tempo Biokineticist will assist you with a personal exercise plan, goal setting and follow-up consultations to ensure you reach those personal goals.

Wait there is more!

The cost of the consultations at the biokineticists or/and the dietician are paid from preventative care benefits and not from your Savings account or any other scheme benefit.  In other words, it is free to all and it is offered as benefits on all the options. 

Each beneficiary in the family who is 16 and older have access to these benefits.

Having your health assessment done, is the key to changing your life and become healthier – so we hope to see you at the event.
