It’s that time of the year again. Taxpayers can file their tax returns from 1 July this year. The good news is that a significant number of individual taxpayers will be auto-assessed again this year, and this process will start in July. The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has communicated that there is no need to call to check auto-assessment status as they we will send taxpayers an SMS if they are selected to be auto-assessed.

Members received their tax certificates for the financial year ending 28 February 2021 by mid-June. Members can also access their tax certificates via the login page on the Bestmed website as well as the Bestmed Mobile app.
